About Us

We're a small shop, run by the exact people we make this for. Tabletop nerds who grew up, got the jobs and the responsibilities and the reasonable bedtimes, and never once stopped hearing the dice calling. We drink too much coffee. We have the cat. We still remember our first character's name.

Thornwood started for a pretty simple reason. We went looking for apparel that actually felt like us, cozy, well-made, and genuinely in on the joke, and we couldn't find it. Everything out there was either loud and edgy or a cheap graphic slapped on a stiff blank. Nothing felt like the warm table we grew up loving. So we built the tavern we wanted to walk into, and we named it Thornwood.

Here is what we're about, and what we stand for.

Made by players, not a boardroom. Every design, every joke, every stat block comes from people who actually sit at the table. We're not a faceless brand chasing a trend, we're one of you, and you can feel it in the details.

Everyone's welcome at the table. Brand-new player or forty-year forever-DM, coffee or tea, whatever you play and however badly you roll, there's a chair here for you. Thornwood is a no-gatekeeping tavern. The table is always big enough for one more.

Quality over churn. We would rather make a few things you'll wear for years than a hundred you'll toss by spring. So we print on heavyweight, garment-dyed Comfort Colors, the soft, broken-in kind, and ship them from right here in the USA. Fewer, better, made to last.

You're a regular, not a receipt. We treat the people who shop here like friends who found the inn, because that's what you are. No hype, no gimmicks, no endless fake sale. Just good gear, made with care, by people who mean it.

Underneath all of it is one belief we hold pretty seriously. The wonder you had as a kid was never something to outgrow. It is the best part of you, and it deserves a warm place to come back to. That place is what we're trying to build, one soft shirt and one bad pun at a time.

The tavern has a keeper, too. Bean, a small and deeply unimpressed wizard cat, judges your coffee intake, disapproves of your dice, and leaves the light on for you anyway. He runs a tighter ship than we do.

You grew up. The magic didn't. Whatever the day out in the thorns took out of you, the fire's lit in here and your chair is waiting.

Pull up a chair. Welcome home.
